From Grassroots to Continental Football – A Decade of Excellence
My career is a testament to relentless growth, innovation, and an unwavering passion for football. From humble beginnings in South African amateur leagues to analyzing matches in Europe, The PSL and the CAF Champions League, every step has shaped me into the Football Scientist, Performance Analyst, Tactical Innovator and Football Educator that I am today.
EARLY CAREER
Building Foundations (2012–2018)

Pearson Institute FC (2012–2016)
Roles: Head Coach (Women’s Team) | Assistant Coach (Men’s Team)- Led the women’s team in university and regional leagues (USSA, Midrand LFA, SAB League).
- Assisted in men’s team tactics, player development, and match preparation.
- Developed a deep understanding of grassroots football dynamics.
Super Rovers FC (2017–2018)
Roles: Head of Development | Head Coach U19s
- Established a functional academy structure in Rabie Ridge.
- Spearheaded the club’s promotion from LFA to the SAFA Regional League (3rd Division).
- Implemented a youth-focused model, fielding homegrown talent in competitive leagues.
Transition to Professional Analysis & Coaching (2019–2021)

Role: Head Coach (SAFA SAB League)
- Managed senior team tactics, recruitment, and match strategies.
- Integrated performance analysis into training despite limited resources.
AJ United FC & Corinthians Black Aces (2021)
Roles: Assistant Coach | Analyst
- Conducted opposition scouting and in-game tactical adjustments.
- Gained experience in semi-professional structures (ABC Motsepe & SAB Leagues).
Nardo FK – Norway, Europe (2021)
Role: Head of Performance Analysis (Virtual Consultant)
- Provided remote analysis for the Norwegian Postnord Ligaen (Division 2) club.
- Adapted European football methodologies into my analytical approach.
Rise in South Africa’s Elite Football (2021–Present)

- Working with Men’s and Women’s National Teams from U15s to Bafana Bafana
- Player scouting profile and integration into the various national teams

Sekhukhune United FC (2021–2024)
Roles: Head Performance Analyst | Set-Piece Coach | Scouting & Player Profiling Consultant
- Built the club’s first dedicated analysis department in the DSTV Premiership.
- Designed set-piece strategies that contributed to key results.
- Assisted in player recruitment and profiling through data-driven scouting.
- Worked under coaches like Macdonald Makhubedu, Owen Da Gama, Kaitano Tembo, Brandon Truter & Lehlohonolo Seema.
